In 2023, the self proclaimed privateer team of the Supercars Championship, Erebus Motorsport, claimed both the drivers and teams championship titles.

With the Drivers Title decided during the opening race of the Adelaide 500, the Teams Championship came down to the very last race of the year, with the Erebus duo of Brodie Kosteki and Will Brown staying out of trouble to ensure they couldnt be caught, making it a championship double.

14 Poles and 10 race wins and 27 podiums, in the 28 race championship was enough to claim the title from fellow Chevrolet Team, Triple Eight Race Engineering.
